  I'm with the spirit of my ancestors at this Braintree Hill Church. Many of my ancestors came here for freedom in the decade after the country of Vermont became the 14th state and the church became the focus. They have been silent sentinels in the cemetery from their passing. I have shared 2/3 of a century in various presence and always in spirit of Old Home Day, the first Sunday in August. The outhouse awaits with my memories of the 3 holes (large, small and....) , a fit for all sizes, Privacy of the privy a personal responsibility here literally in the center of Vermont where the views are incredible.
